
Although embroidery art has a long history in China, the works of handicraft artists from all over the world are also quite amazing. Those artists pursue natural lifelikeness and exquisite vividness, and they add some 3D effect to the 2D items so as to make the embroidery objects more vivid. Especially the embroidered animals have natural hair and smart eyes, which makes the animals look realistic as well as more lifelike.

Russian artist Julia Gorina (Sevastyanova) enjoyed drawing in her childhood, but didn’t study at art schools. Instead, she graduated from Moscow Finance and the Humanities Academy, Design faculty. Her hand-made bird works combine cloth art and embroidery, which is exquisite, elegant and unique.
